Johnson Controls International (JCI) is a global leader in fire, HVAC, and security equipment, headquartered in Cork, Ireland. With over 105,000 employees in 2,000 locations worldwide, JCI is undertaking a major Oracle Fusion ERP transformation across EMEALA, starting with a phase one pilot in Belgium.
As part of this program, end users across Finance, Plan to Fulfil, Subscriptions, Quote & Order to Cash, Revenue Management, Record to Report, and Analytics required training in English, Dutch, and French – delivered remotely to fit the needs of a dispersed workforce.
The Challenge
JCI faced several hurdles at the start of its Oracle Fusion ERP journey:

Minimal Fusion training experience within the organisation.

Limited internal training capacity, with only a small team available to support both training development and delivery.

A strong need to upskill internal trainers while simultaneously creating end-user materials.

The importance of success in the pilot phase, setting the standard for business realisation and subsequent rollout phases across EMEALA.
With limited time and resources, JCI sought a trusted specialist in Oracle Fusion training to deliver high-quality training under tight timelines.
Our Approach
Fudgelearn was commissioned at short notice to partner with JCI and deliver training that would both meet immediate business needs and create a foundation for future rollouts.
Working hand-in-hand with JCI’s internal training manager, Fudgelearn:

Developed core training content in English, which was then translated into Dutch and French for Belgian end-users.

Delivered interactive online training sessions in Dutch and French, ensuring users were supported in their native language.

Created a library of training materials that JCI could reuse and adapt for further phases and future countries.

Provided knowledge transfer to JCI’s training team, ensuring the organisation built an internal knowledge pool for long-term sustainability.
