The Challenge
Seadrill, a medium-sized global oil and gas drilling company, embarked on a major transformation programme to implement Oracle Cloud across its Finance, Supply Chain and Core HR functions.
With 3,500 employees – the vast majority (around 3,000) working offshore – Seadrill faced a unique adoption challenge. Employees offshore had limited time and connectivity for training, yet their ability to accurately and efficiently use Oracle Cloud processes was critical to business success.

The Solution
