Customer Background

The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider. With operations across more than 70 countries and a diverse workforce, LSEG plays a vital role in connecting investors, businesses, and markets around the world.
As part of its commitment to innovation and operational excellence, LSEG embarked on a significant digital transformation journey — adopting Oracle Cloud Applications to streamline finance, procurement, and operational processes.

The Challenge

As part of this transformation, LSEG needed to implement Oracle Cloud Applications consistently across its global business. With operations spanning multiple countries, the challenge was to deliver user-friendly training that reflected LSEG’s unique business processes while ensuring adoption and confidence among employees.

LSEG required more than just system training — they needed a blended learning and adoption program that would help their people embrace change, minimise disruption, and develop confidence in the new Oracle Cloud environment.

Our Approach

1. Training Needs Analysis & Planning
Fudgelearn worked with LSEG stakeholders to review and validate the Training Needs Analysis (TNA), finalising the training development plan and delivery schedule. This ensured that the training approach aligned with both the program timeline and business priorities.

2. Tailored Training Solutions
We developed bespoke training materials specifically designed for LSEG’s Oracle Cloud processes. Every training intervention reflected the organisation’s business language, policies, and procedures, making it directly relevant and easier to adopt.

3. Global Training Delivery
Fudge delivered user-friendly training modules across LSEG’s key global locations, ensuring consistent learning experiences. Training was delivered virtually to maximise accessibility, supported by Quick Reference Guides and training videos for reinforcement.

4. Building Confidence & Reducing Risk
Our focus was on helping LSEG employees build confidence. By combining instructor-led training with digital learning assets and ongoing reinforcement, we supported a smooth transition to Oracle Cloud while safeguarding business continuity.

5. Blended Learning Support
To ensure training was accessible and flexible, Fudge developed:

  • Virtual classroom sessions

  • Training videos and simulations

  • Quick Reference Guides and Job Aids

  • Role-specific exercises to embed learning

6. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
An evaluation framework was designed and delivered to measure training effectiveness. This ensured learner feedback was captured, progress monitored, and improvements implemented where required.

7. Oracle Guided Learning (OGL)
As part of the rollout, Oracle Guided Learning was implemented within Oracle Fusion applications to provide real-time, in-application support. This meant users had step-by-step guidance at the point of need, reducing support requests and accelerating adoption.

The Results

Through this tailored approach, Fudge helped LSEG:

  • Deliver a consistent and engaging training experience across multiple geographies

  • Build user confidence and reduce resistance to change

  • Support business continuity during a major system transformation

  • Embed a self-sustaining user adoption model with the help of Oracle Guided Learning

By combining structured training with in-app support, Fudge enabled LSEG’s workforce to transition smoothly to Oracle Cloud and maximise the return on their technology investment.
